    • The invention concerns a two part hearing aid comprising a base part (1) to be arranged outside the ear canal of a hearing aid user, said base part comprising at least one microphone (3, 4), signal processing means (23) and power supply means (8). The hearing aid also comprise an ear plug part (2) to be arranged in the ear canal of a hearing aid user, said ear plug part comprising acoustic transmitting means (5, 10) for transmitting sound into the ear canal, said ear plug part (2) comprising an ear canal microphone (11) for transforming an acoustic signal in the ear canal into an electric signal, and the ear plug part further comprising an electronic module (7) connected to said ear canal microphone (11). The hearing aid further comprise an elongated member (40) connecting said ear plug part (2) with said base part (1), said elongated member comprise electrical wires (15, 17, 42, 43) prepared for providing power supply to the ear plug part (2). The signal from the ear canal microphone (11) is transferred to the signal processing means (23 in the base part (1) through a serial databus connected through a data line (16) arranged with said elongated member (40).

    • A hearing aid comprising a power supply (8), at least one microphone (11) and a base part (1) to be arranged outside the ear canal of a hearing aid user where the base part comprises signal processing means (23). The hearing aid also comprise an ear plug part (2) to be arranged in the ear canal of a hearing aid user, the ear plug part comprises a receiver (10) for transmitting sound into the ear canal, and the ear plug part comprises a transducer (11) generating a signal to be transferred to said base part (1). The hearing aid further comprises a databus (15) connecting said ear plug part (2) with the base part (1). The databus (15) comprises two electrical wires (16, 17) adapted for transmission of signal to the receiver (10), and for transmission of signal from the transducer (11) to the base part (1) and the databus (15) being adapted for providing power supply either from the base part to the ear plug part, or, from the ear plug part to the base part, through said two electrical wires (16, 17). At least three different states of the databus are applied in different time slots, where a first state is for transfer of power, a second state is for transmission of signal from the base part to the ear plug part, and a third state is for transmission of signal from the ear plug part to the base part.

    • A personal wearable EEG monitor comprising an implantable electrode part with at least two electrodes for measuring an EEG signal of a person. The electrode part comprises an electronic circuit arranged in a housing with each electrode arranged external to the housing. The electronic circuit is adapted for receiving an analogue EEG signal from the electrodes and is provided with an analogue to digital converter for converting the analogue EEG signal into a digital signal. The electrode part comprises a testing circuit for testing functionality of the electrode part. The testing circuit comprises a capacitor coupled in serial connection to at least one of the electrodes. The test circuit also comprises a test signal generator for providing a test signal, where the test signal generator is adapted for being coupled between the electrodes and the electronic circuit during a testing period, wherein said EEG monitor is adapted for analyzing the signal resulting from the signal generator for identification of faults in the electrode part.
