    • The present invention provides a process for preparing a fluorine-containing halogenated hydrocarbon compound by fluorinating, in a reaction field where an antimony halide compound represented by the general formula:

              SbCl p F 5-p      (I)

      wherein p is a value within a range from 0 to 2, and hydrogen fluoride and a halogenated hydrocarbon compound as a raw material exist, the halogenated hydrocarbon compound in a molar ratio of the antimony halide compound to hydrogen fluoride within a range from 40/60 to 90/10. According to this process, a fluorine-containing halogenated hydrocarbon compound (HFC), which is important as a substitute compound of CFC or HCFC, can be prepared economically advantageously with good selectivity while suppressing a corrosive action of a reaction vessel.

    • A manufacturing method for 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane in which the method is composed of:

      step A wherein 2,3-dichloro-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane is reduced with hydrogen under the presence of hydrogenation catalyst in gaseous phase;
      step B wherein all of the products of the said step A are introduced into a cooler condenser, so that either a component of hydrogen and hydrogen chloride as non-condensation component and another compoment of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane as condensation component, or a component of hydrogen as non-condensation component and another component of hydrogen chloride and 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane as condensation component are obtained;
      step C wherein hydrogen is separated from the non-condensation component of the said step B, and it is recycled to the said step A; and
      step D wherein 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane is separated from the condensation component of the said step B.

      The producing method based on a manufacturing process of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane can be provided with good efficiency and economy in industrial scales.

    • A process for preparing 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane comprising the step (A) of reducing 2,3-dichloro-1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst under an atmospheric or elevated pressure by a vapor-phase reaction, the step (B) of introducing all of the products of the step (A) into a condenser to obtain a non-condensed component comprising hydrogen and hydrogen chloride and a condensed component comprising 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane or a non-condensed component comprising hydrogen and a condensed component comprising hydrogen chloride and 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane, the step (C) of separating hydrogen from the non-condensed component of the step (B) and recycling the hydrogen to the above step (A), and the step (D) of separating 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane from the condensed component of the step (B). This process makes it possible to prepare 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane industrially efficiently and economically.
