    • In the surface acoustic wave filter, a longitudinally-coupled double-mode resonator filter formed by arranging a plurality of inter-digital transducers for exciting and receiving a surface acoustic wave adjacent each other in the direction of propagation of the surface acoustic wave is connected in series to a resonator having one or a plurality of inter-digital transducers for exciting and receiving a surface acoustic wave.     • A surface acoustic wave filter includes a piezoelectric substrate and first and second IDT provided thereon. The first IDT is formed on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate. The second IDT is formed on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate and positioned not in a straight line with the first IDT in the surface acoustic wave propagation direction. A first reflection edge is formed on the piezoelectric substrate, and positioned in a straight line with the first IDT in the surface acoustic wave propagation direction so that an SH type surface acoustic wave excited by the first IDT is input to the first reflection edge and is reflected therefrom at an angle to the input direction. A second reflection edge is formed on the piezoelectric substrate and positioned in a straight line with the second IDT in the surface acoustic wave propagation direction, so that the SH type surface acoustic wave reflected from the first reflection edge is input to the second reflection edge and is reflected therefrom at an angle to the input direction, toward the second IDT.

    • A surface acoustic wave filter has a series resonator group and a parallel resonator group. The series resonator group includes a plurality of surface acoustic wave electrodes formed on a surface of a piezoelectric substrate and electrically disposed in series between an input terminal and an output terminal. The parallel resonator group includes a plurality of surface acoustic wave electrodes individually electrically disposed in parallel between an input- or output-terminal of the individual surface acoustic wave electrodes of the series resonator group and a ground electrode. A part number of the surface acoustic electrodes of the parallel resonator group is configured to deteriorate an obtained Q value and presents a resonant frequency which is lower than an antiresonant frequency and higher than a resonant frequency respectively formed by the other surface acoustic wave electrodes of the parallel resonator group.
