    • A cryopump includes a cryopanel, a cryocooler which is configured to cool the cryopanel, and includes a cryocooler motor configured to drive the cryocooler and a cryocooler inverter configured to control an operating frequency of the cryocooler motor, and a control unit configured to control the cryocooler to perform a cool-down operation by which a temperature of the cryopanel is decreased from room temperature to a standard operating temperature. The control unit includes an operating frequency determination unit configured to determine an operating frequency of the cryocooler motor within an operating frequency range having an upper limit operating frequency and outputs the operating frequency to the cryocooler inverter, and an upper limit adjustment unit configured to decrease the upper limit operating frequency based on a decrease in a temperature of the cryopanel during the cool-down operation.

    • An industrial process control system operated by a general purpose digital computer. A number of controlled process conditions, such as flow rate and temperature, are measured by sensors arranged to send to the computer pulse-train signals the frequencies of which are proportional to the magnitudes of respective conditions. The computer detects the incoming pulses and counts them for a fixed time period to develop corresponding digital measurement signals. These measurement signals are processed to produce corresponding digital command signals for respective process valves. The command signals are converted to respective continuous pulse-train output signals which are directed to respective process valves to control the positioning thereof.

    • Disclosed herein are sinusoidal modulation control methods and circuits for PMSM. In one embodiment, a method can include: detecting rotor position information of the PMSM to obtain a rotor position signal and a rotor rotating speed measured value; comparing the rotating speed measured value against a reference rotating speed value to generate an error signal, and generating a first regulating voltage signal based on the error signal using a PI regulator; receiving the rotor position signal and the first regulating voltage signal, and generating a full-wave U-shaped modulation wave by using the rotor position signal as a time reference; generating a second U-shaped modulation wave by multiplying the full-wave U-shaped modulation wave with the first regulating voltage signal; comparing the second U-shaped modulation wave against a triangular wave to generate a PWM control signal that controls a switch of an inverter to regulate a current of the PMSM.
