    • A color photographic material is disclosed. It has formed on a support a first silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler represented by formula 1, a second silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler represented by formula II, a third silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler represented by formula IIIa or IIIb, said third emulsion layer being positioned farthest from the support, a first non-light-sensitive layer formed on one side of said third emulsion layer opposite to the support, and a second non-light-sensitive layer formed on the other side of said third emulsion layer, at least said first non-light-sensitive layer containing a UV absorber represented by formula IV:
      Wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkoxy group; R 2 is -NHCOR 21 , -NHSO 2 R 21 , -COOR 21 or
      (wherein R 21 and R 22 are each an alkyl group which may be substituted); and Z 1 is an atom or a group that is eliminated upon coupling;
      wherein X 1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an amido group, a hydroxy group, a cyano group or a nitro group; Y 1 , Y 2 and Y 3 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a carboxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a nitro group, an aryloxy group, a cyano group or an acylamino group; W 1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a monovalent organic group; and Z 2 is an atom or a group that is eliminated upon coupling;
      wherein R 3 , R 4 and R 5 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an alkoxy group; R 6 and R 7 are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; R 8 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and Z 3 is an atom or a group that is eliminated upon coupling;

    • A method of processing a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material which comprises subjecting to imagewise exposure a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on i) a substrate coated with a resin cured by irradiation with electron beams or ii) one side or both sides of a substrate of an opaque thermoplastic resin film comprising a synthetic polyester film coated on its one side or both sides with fine particles of white pigment and/or a synthetic polyester film containing said fine particles dispersed in the film and applied with molecular orientation, followed by color developing processing and, after processing by use of a processing solution having fixing ability, stabilizing processing without substantially any water washing step. The method is useful for impriving particularly the edge stain with lapse of time after the processing.

    • A method of processing a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material which comprises processing an imagewise exposed light-sensitive silver halide photographic material comprising a support bearing at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing silver halide grains which are sensitized with a sensitizing dye of formula [I]:
      wherein:
          Z₁ and Z₂, which may be identical or different, are each a group which, together with the nitrogen and carbon atoms to which they are attached, form a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring which is a thiazole, a benzothiazole, a selenezole, a benzoselenazole, a naphthoselenazole, a benzimidazole, a naphthoimidazole, a pyridine or a quinoline ring;
          R₁ and R₂, which may be identical or different, are each an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group;
          R₃ is hydrogen, a methyl group or an ethyl group;
          X₁ ⊖ is an anion; and
          ℓ is 0 or 1,
          with a colour developer solution comprising an aromatic primary amine color developing agent in the presence of:     at least one hydroxylamine derivative of formula [II]
      wherein R₂₁ and R₂₂, which may be identical or different, are each hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, with the proviso that R₂₁ and R₂₂ are not simultaneously hydrogen, or R₂₁ and R₂₂, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a nitrogen-containing ring, or a water soluble acid salt thereof; and
          at least one nitrogen-containing heterocyclic mercapto compound.
