    • The invention concerns a rotational angle measuring arrangement for measuring angle dependent units of an encoding shaft which is journaled in a transducer housing. A stator coupling non-rotationally connects the transducer housing to the housing of a drive system that is to be measured, and the encoding shaft and a drive shaft of the drive system are non-rotatably secured to each other. To provide an improved angle measuring system when the stator coupling is positioned between the transducer housing and the drive housing, to prevent angle measurement errors and to facilitate the mounting of the transducer, at least one locking mechanism is provided. When the transducer, including the stator coupling, is detached from the drive housing, the locking mechanism causes the stator coupling to non-rotatably lock the encoding shaft to the transducer housing, and when the stator coupling is secured to the drive system, the locking mechanism permits the encoder shaft to freely rotate.

    • Apparatus for use in aligning the differential input shaft of a race car with the transmission output shaft includes a transmission attachment and a differential attachment, each of which is detachably mountable to the race car. Each attachment includes a laser mounted centrally in a plate which is mounted substantially perpendicular to the transmission and the differential respectively. The laser mounted to the transmission emits a light beam coaxial to the transmission output shaft and the laser mounted to the differential emits a light beam coaxial to the differential input shaft. By adjusting the differential and transmission relative to each other such that the laser beams do not intersect, the differential and the transmission are aligned for optimum performance. A camber gauge may be substituted for the laser in either plate to measure the attitude of the differential or the transmission.

    • The tool for locating a center mark for embroidery on articles such as garments includes a planar body having orthogonally-related legs with respective exterior and interior edges. Index markings are provided on the legs along the linear edges. The index markings include indicia identifying a plurality of corresponding preestablished garment sizes along the linear extending edges, respectively. By aligning common selected sizes along the edges with the vertical centerline of a folded garment and a shoulder portion of the garment, respectively, the location of the embroiderer's center mark on the garment is identified at the intersection of the linear edges. The interior edges of the tool may also used to form marking lines where conventional hoop grids are not available.

    • A locating device for locating a body such as an electrical box behind a wall or ceiling. The device includes a first member positionable in the body and a second member that can be positioned on the outer surface of the wall or ceiling. A magnet positioned in the first member cooperates with a magnet positioned in the second member to maintain the second member in an aligned position with respect to the electrical box. Two magnets can be used to enhance the alignment of the second member with the electrical box. A circular first member can be used for locating circular boxes or lights.     • It is a miter saw table that has adjustable measuring tapes. The tape sections can be calibrated so that the zero point on the tape is always set at the outer surface of the blade.
