    • PURPOSE:To improve the controllability of decompression, by providing a control lever, connected and interlocking to a decompression lever, in the side face part of an engine not coated by a cover, in the case of a device such that an upper part of the engine containing the decompression lever is coated by the cover. CONSTITUTION:The main unit 6 of an engine and a generator 11 are set through vibro-isolating rubbers 5 to the upper of a supporting plate 4 mounted to the bottom end part of a supporting frame 2. A fuel tank 9 is mounted to a flange part 10 of the supporting frame 2, coating both the generator 11 and the engine additionally functioning as a noise-proof cover. A decompression lever 13, being provided in a cylinder head cover 8, is connected to be interlocked to a control lever 16, provided in the side face of the engine not coated by the cover, through a link 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that allows operation, which is good for the environment as much as possible, and in other words, which is small in environmental load.SOLUTION: In the cylinder device for the internal combustion engine, a pyrolysis catalyst includes two hollow cylinders (25, 26) which are arranged separately from each other and concentrically with each other. In both hollow cylinders, an intermediate room (27) is formed. The peripheral walls of the hollow cylinders (25, 26), which delimit the intermediate room (27), are provided with a metal coating (28), preferably, platinum or palladium for dissipating the combustion heat by the reaction of hydrogen gas and oxygen gas, which acts on the inner hollow cylinder (25) in the hollow cylinders. The outer hollow cylinder (26) in the hollow cylinders includes: an inlet opening (29) for the supply of water; an outlet opening (30) for the discharge of oxyhydrogen gas; and a temperature sensor (31) for water-supply control.
