    • A turnstile entry gate comprising at least two, at equiangular distances on an arm carrier (5) mounted barrier arms (2-3), the arm carrier (5) being by way of a remote-controlled barrier device (6) arranged to permit or to prevent turning in at least one rotational direction. The arm carrier (5), or at least one of disks (7; 8) arranged near and connected thereto exhibits a magnetic strip (9) preferably extending circumferentially and adapted, by way of sensors, to indicate the position and the direction of movement of the turnstile. The barrier function of the device (6) is normally mechanically disconnected when one of the barrier arms (2-4) in the turnstile is in its home position, i.e. horizontally oriented, the sensor and electronic systems only checking that a passage has taken place and that, with the aid of e.g. a spring and/or hydraulics, the turnstile can assume its next home position.

    • An emergency exit revolving door apparatus includes a revolving door assembly that is generally comprised of a ceiling panel, a floor panel, and a pair of curved vertical panels extending therebetween to form a rigid, conjoint assembly. The revolving door assembly is disposed in a door opening of a building, and is mounted on a dolly that is disposed within a channel inset in the floor and extending outwardly from the exterior of the door opening. In an emergency situation, if a throng of people rush to the revolving door and push outwardly on it with sufficient force, the door assembly will be driven outwardly by the force. The dolly will translate along the channel so that the entire revolving door assembly translates outwardly from the door opening of the building and clear the door opening to enable a substantially unobstructed emergency exit path.

    • A revolving door system includes outer walls (2) disposed in parallel with a doorway in a building. A hollow center core (3) having a racetrack-shaped cross-section is disposed between the outer walls, whereby passageways are defined by the lower surface (4a) of a ceiling (4), the floor, the center core and the outer walls. Upper and lower rails (10) and (11) are secured within the center core, and with which plural sets of upper and lower suspension devices (13) and (14) are movable engaged. A plurality of doors (12) are supported by the upper and lower suspension devices. A pulling bar (56) is linked to the upper suspension device for each door. The pulling bars are connected to a driving chain (75) driven to move by a door driving arrangement. A carrier bar (15) is connected to each upper suspension device, for rotatably supporting the upper portion of each door at a location near the center core. The lower portion of each door is rotatably supported by one of the lower suspension devices. An electromagnetic locking arrangement (51) detachably holds the upper portion of each door with respect to the carrier bar at a location remote from the center core.

    • A revolving door with a ceiling drive beam that is integrated into the ceiling construction, whereby the ceiling construction consists of two circular segments. The ceiling drive beam is located between the segments and is continuous over the inside diameter of the face band and is connected on the face side to the face band. The result is a component that braces and stiffens the ceiling construction, so that other elements of the ceiling construction, such as the struts that support the face band, can be realized lighter in weight and can be manufactured more economically.
