摘要： A voltage regulating control system for vehicle systems which includes a power supply providing electrical power to the system and having a predefined maximum voltage. A controller controls an actuator performing a vehicle system function and the electrical load in the system wherein the controller has a first predefined minimum operating voltage. A voltage regulator communicates with the controller and the power supply and senses a system input voltage in the system. In response to a sensed voltage dip in excess of a predetermined value, the regulator changes an effective electrical impedance of the system to maintain the system voltage at a predefined minimum voltage greater than the first predefined minimum operating voltage required by the controller.

摘要： A control system for a container chassis latching assembly of a trailer provides for initial pressurization of the latching assembly via the trailer supply line. Once a trailer reservoir is sufficiently charged, pressure is maintained for the latch assembly by the trailer reservoir. A preferred control valve interconnects the supply line with a supply port of the valve to provide the desired pressure at a delivery port. A control port of the valve is connected with the trailer reservoir and shuts off this flow once the trailer reservoir has reached a predetermined pressure. Thereafter, the latch assembly is maintained via air supplied from the trailer reservoir.

摘要： A method a method of accessing a device in a communications network in a motor vehicle via an external device (1) is described, a software element being transmitted to the external device in the case of authorized access to a device in the communications network to permit control of the device in the communications network by the external device. A gateway checks on whether access is possible, either checking directly with the device requested or via the system manager. Security in communication between the external device and the device to be controlled is achieved by an additional encryption and/or a specified validity period of the software element transcribed to the external device. If there is no software element for a device to be controlled, such a software element is created by using a control module and data stored in the device. A bus system, preferably according to IEEE 1394, is used as the communications network. This method increases security while at the same time using a less complex gateway.
