摘要： A suture cutter for cutting a suture in a slicing action including a first arm having a free end insertable under a suture and an elongated portion extending at an obtuse angle to the free end, and second arm having a free end and an elongated portion manually movable toward the elongated portion of the first arm, the elongated portions of both arms forming a handle for grasping the suture cutter. A straight edge cutting blade is attached to the free end of the second arm so that the cutting edge of the blade is at an angle to the elongated portion of the second arm ensuring a slicing cutting action on the suture when the suture cutter is operated without a resilient flexing of the second arm.

摘要： The catch is designed for closing secateurs and similar tools which are equipped with a spring holding them open. The legs (2a, 3a) of the tool are turned inwards at the bottom, their ends butting together. One leg (2a) has a catch (7) produced integrally in it, by slitting the turned-in length and enlarging the blind end (7a) to form a hinge. The free end of this catch has a formed shoulder (7b), the face having an undercutting angle which engages a similarly shaped recess (6) in the corresponding turned-in section of the other leg (3a).

摘要： The pincers may be used to trim wires or the ends of components installed on printed circuit boards, and includes an adjustable spacer-bar (6) which ensures that min. tail-lengths (D) remain. The pincers may have twin inter-articulating arms (1, 2). The cutting edges (4, 5) may align parallel to the pivot axis (3) and locate on the opposed remote tips of the fore-arms. The spacer-bar (6) has two closed slots (8, 9) on the longitudinal axis. A clamp-screw (11) through one (8) of the slots holds the spacer (6) in place and a dowel through the other slot (9) serves as a guide. The tip (7a) of the spacer projects a specified distance (D) beyond the cutting edges (4, 5) and the distance can be adjsuted.
