A spool of banding material in the form of a thin flat strip is provided above the shaft or on the horizontal part of the wrapping arm, and guiding pulleys at a junction betwen the horizontal and vertical parts, and at a lower discharge end of the vertical part, guide the flat strip to the area of a lower carriage, which is also displacement in elevation and supports a unit adapted to hold, cut and affix the flat strip when wrapped.

摘要： Sack splaying and folding machine provides for subsequent tying process. The processing machine includes a bag conveyor band and appts. for the flat splaying of the sacks edges, a sack edge zig-zag folding device and a holding tongue which runs with it. They are operatively related to the position of the sack through light barriers and electric switch units. The sack edge zig-zag folding appts. is fitted with a main carriage to which a sack edge flat holding device is attached which includes flat holding plates formed like levers swivelling against each other in pairs and located at equal distances in the band direction. There is a second carriage adjustable relative to the main carriage and carrying a folding finger mechanism.
