    • The fluidized bed proposed has a container (10) in which is located a circle of guide vanes (36) disposed between a gas-inlet zone (30, 50) and, above it, a fluidized-bed zone (60) so that a stream of gas passing upwards through intermediate zones (38) between the vanes is given a rotational motion. The gas-inlet zone (30, 50) includes a first inlet chamber (30) to which only intermediate zones (38) without nozzles (40) between the guide vanes (36) are connected. The intermediate zones (38) with nozzles (40) are partitioned off from the first inlet chamber (30) and connected to a second inlet chamber (50) which can be supplied with gas separately from the first. This gives new ways of controlling a fluidized bed, in particular to produce more uniform conditions.

    • The invention concerns a fluid bed apparatus for producing and/or further treating granulates, the apparatus having a container which comprises an inlet chamber, through which a gas, in particular air, can flow upwards, and a swirl chamber which is disposed above the inlet chamber and is designed to fluidize the product. Pivotable plates (1) are disposed between the inlet chamber and the swirl chamber. At least one nozzle arm (6) mounted in the container below the plates (1) has at least one nozzle duct (3) bearing a nozzle (4) which is directed into the swirl chamber for introducing granulating substances. The plates (1) have cutouts (2) through which the nozzle ducts (3) are guided such that they extend partially into the swirl chamber, the cutouts (2) being sufficiently large to allow the plates (1) to pivot. The rigidity of the nozzle arms (6) allows them greater clearance in their structural design.

    • A container (12) comprises a treatment space (14) for a material (16), below which a wind chamber (22) is arranged.
