Each oscillator circuit (01, 02) includes a transmission line inductive impedance (L3, L13) between the oscillator output and ground. The inductive impedances (L3, L13) are selected to be open at the operating frequency of the associated oscillator circuit and a short or a low impedance at the frequency of the other oscillator circuit. 摘要： A high frequency oscillator is provided by connecting two amplifier circuits in parallel where each amplifier circuit provides the other amplifier circuit with the conditions necessary for oscillation. The inherent noise present in both amplifier circuits causes the quiescent current, and in turn, the generated frequency, to change. The changes in quiescent current cause the transconductance and the load impedance of each amplifier circuit to vary, and this in turn results in opposing changes in the input susceptance of each amplifier circuit. Because the changes in input susceptance oppose each other, the changes in quiescent current also oppose each other. The net result is that frequency stability is enhanced.

摘要： A low noise oscillator is disclosed wherein the collector and base of a transistor are respectively biased at different voltages from a common voltage source to be conditioned for generating a high frequency oscillation with a resonant circuit connected to the emitter and collector. The high frequency oscillation developed at the base of the transistor is coupled to ground. A capacitive circuit is coupled between the collector and base of the transistor to eliminate the effect of a voltage-dependent capacitance inherently present in the transistor between its collector and base on the frequency of the oscillation in order to reduce the level of noise introduced to sidebands.

摘要： A start-stop oscillator circuit in which the oscillator circuit includes an inductor connected in parallel with a pair of serially connected capacitors. The inductor and capacitors form the tank circuit for the oscillator which is in the form of a Colpitts oscillator. In order to start and stop the oscillator within a brief period, not to exceed the conventional blanking interval for a television, switches are connected between one end of the inductor and ground and from a point between the capacitors to ground. The end of the inductor opposite the end to which the switch is connected and the corresponding end of the capacitor branch are also connected to ground. The switches, when closed, dump the tank circuit extremely quickly and when opened permit the oscillator to start up relatively quickly, whereby the complete interval of stopping the oscillator and again starting the oscillator can take place within the required brief period of time corresponding to a conventional horizontal blanking pulse in a television system.
