CONSTITUTION:On the end planes of two arms 1a and 1b of an U-shaped magnetic core 1 of a phase converter, two I-shaped magnetic cores 21 and 22 facing each other are arranged oppositely in a manner both end planes of them and the end planes of said two arms cross at right angles. Ends of I-shaped magnetic cores 31 and 32 of T-shape are arranged to be connected to central end planes of the magnetic cores 21 and 22 respectively and are jointed with planes in central portions of two U-shaped magnetic cores 41 and 42 arranged to form O-shape. Also, the other planes in central portions of the magnetic cores 41 and 42 are jointed with end planes of two arms 5a and 5b of U-shaped magnetic core 5 respectively. Single-phase input voltage Vin is applied to a coil on input-side of the magnetic core of this converter to generate output voltage in coils on output-side of each of magnetic cores 31, 32, 41 and 42. Also, a control coil for applying the controlling direct voltage is wound around the iron core 5, thereby varying the output voltage of the coil when Vin is kept to be constant.
