    • A current source comprising a main choke (1) with windings according to the number of phases and a capacitor (2) according to the number of phases, both having the same reactive impedance at the frequency of a voltage source (7). Some of the terminals of the main choke (1) and the capacitor (2) are star-connected to the load (3) of each phase of the current source. The other terminals of the main choke (1) and of the capacitor (2) are connected, together with the load, to the phases of the voltage source (7). The current source further comprises an additional choke (9) with a ferrite core, which is connected between the common point of each of the star-connections and a point which has a zero potential in relation to the neutral of the voltage source (7).

    • A controllable current source comprising a choke (1) and a capacitor (2) having equal reactive impedances at the frequency of an alternating-voltage source (3), and a unit for matching and controlling the load current provided as a magnetic amplifier (4). Some of the terminals of the choke (1), of the capacitor (2) and of the primary winding (6, 7) of the magnetic amplifier (4) are connected to the corresponding phases of the alternating-voltage source (3). The others of the terminals of the choke (1), of the capacitor (2) and of the primary winding (6, 7) of the magnetic amplifier (4) are star-connected with each other.
