摘要： An under-floor trough is provided for use with a raised-floor system. The under-floor trough includes an air-delivery assembly, one or more plurality of dampers, a support system, and a heating element. A control unit, removable from above the raised-floor system, and a baffle are disposed within the air-delivery assembly. The dampers include vanes that are actuated between open and closed positions according to a time modulated duty cycle to control the flow of conditioned air to a room. The support system provides a plurality of legs disposed between the bottom of the air-delivery assembly and a sub-floor. A bracket is mounted to a wall and the under-floor trough is supported thereby. The heating element is disposed within the air-delivery assembly. Conditioned air is provided to a room at high flow rates for short durations based on the duty cycle, thereby increasing the uniformity of cooling provided to the room.

According to another embodiment, the air handling can further include a first sensor that detects air pressure in the cabinet, a second sensor that detects air pressure outside the cabinet, and a control unit that increases rotational speed of the fan when the air pressure in the cabinet is lower than the air pressure outside the cabinet.

Bekannte Klimatisierungsvorrichtungen der genannten Art lassen es nicht zu, den Kaltluftabfall an Fenstern (10) zu unterbinden. Dadurch kommt es trotz einer gleichmäßigen Einleitung der Quellluft in den Raum (14) zu Zugerscheinungen.
Die Erfindung sieht es vor, einen Bodenkanal (15) der Klimatisierungsvorrichtung auf der Seite der Fenster (10) mit wenigstens einer Lufteintrittsöffnung (29) zu versehen. Hierdurch kann von den Fenstern (10) abfallende Kaltluft in den Bodenkanal (15) gelangen und vom darin angeordneten Konvektor (23) erwärmt werden. Es wird so auf einfache Weise der vor allem im Winter auftretende Kaltluftabfall an den Fenstern (10) verhindert, und zwar unter Einbeziehung des ohnehin für die Erwärmung der aufbereiteten Quellluft erforderlichen Konvektors (23) der Klimatisierungsvorrichtung.
