The inle valve opens into the work chamber and the exhaust valve opens in the opposite direction, thereby delimiting, between them, an exhaust passage (8). The injection device (5) opens into the work chamber substantially at the centre of a central hub (21) on the cylinder head, the exhaust valve (6) sliding along said hub.

    • In the head housing (1) there are two mains: for air suction (A) and for air exhaust (B). The concentrical interrelation of these two mains enables the maximum possible size of the main openings which allow the necessary quantity of air for combustion into the cylinder, whereas in the exhaust process the resistance is much smaller due to the size of the main opening. The exhaust main (B) is closed by one valve (2) which is opened by one cam (5) on the camshaft (6). The suction main (A) is closed by a profiled ring (7) which is opened by two cams (5a) on the camshaft (6). This technical solution allows the engine to "breathe more easily", which has an immediate effect on the fuel consumption, engine power, quality of exhaust gases, economy of fuel consumption, and longevity in exploitation.
