摘要： A system for determining a state of a door having a locking mechanism for locking the door includes a locking mechanism and a door sensor. The locking mechanism sensor is disposed for sensing a condition of the locking mechanism and generating a signal indicative thereof. The door sensor disposed for sensing a condition of the door and generating a signal indicative thereof. The system further includes a processor for determining a state of the door, in response to the signals from the locking mechanism sensor and the door sensor. The state of the door is a secured state when the door sensor senses the condition of the door as closed and the locking mechanism sensor senses the condition of the locking mechanism as locked. A method for determining a state of a door having a locking mechanism for locking the door includes sensing a condition of the locking mechanism and sensing a condition of the door. The method further includes, determining a state of the door as a secured state when the condition of the locking mechanism is sensed as locked and the condition of the door is sensed as closed.

摘要： An electrical conductor element in the form of a flexible or rigid sheet is provided for detecting attempts to break into a space where valuables or money are being stored, such as a strongroom or the coin container of a slot machine. The base material of the element is in the form of a woven or non-woven material or of plastic sheeting, and the electrical conductor is in the form of wire such as enameled copper wire for electrical connection with an alarm system. The conductor is secured in place by stitching, that is to say the wire is either formed into penetrating stitches by being fed from the needle or shuttle of a sewing machine or it is fed from a stationary part of the sewing machine so as to be fixed in place by stitches or conventional textile yarn or thread. When the conductor is interrupted by drilling, sawing or the like the alarm system is activated.

A second blocking device, which is harder to overcome by the effect of force, is embodied as at least one striker element (25) rigidly connected with the locking plate (23) and which, following the limited movement of the locking plate (23) in the opening direction, comes to rest against a counter-striker element (26) anchored on the door or window frame. An alarm, in particular a silent alarm, is triggered via radio or the telephone net after the first blocking device has been overcome. The burglar is thereafter delayed by the second blocking device, which makes it possible for security forces to reach the location of the break-in and to arrest the burglar while the break-in is still in progress.

Separate switches are provided for side hinged doors having side mounted and bottom mounted dead bolts; for surface mounted dead bolts that are used on overhead doors or the like; and for emergency doors operated by a so-called panic bar. These switches may also be used for certain types of windows.
