    • Solid wood building system in particular for use as supporting rear walls in outer walls, supporting dividing walls, non-supporting dividing walls, roof elements and storey partitions, and comprising elements of solid wood consisting of parallel boards which are assembled broadside against broadside by nailing together, by means of dowels or by gluing, where the thickness of the individual solid wood element is defined by the breadth of the used boards, the length of said solid wood element corresponding to the length of the boards, and the breadth of said solid wood element having an extension defined as the sum of the narrow sides of the boards used therein. The weakness of said known solid wood elements is that the wood elements "warp" in relation to one another, which results in uneven absorption and distribution of displacement forces at the edges of the building elements where these are built together. To overcome said disadvantages, there is provided a solid wood element (2) of the kind disclosed which has at least one groove (18) in the ends, transversely to the ends (16) of the wood elements in the production direction of the solid wood elements, in which groove (18) there is placed a co-operating tongue (20) in the form of at least one bracing element which is fastened in the groove, and which extends along the whole length of the groove(s). Mutual warping between the wood elements (4) is hereby opposed.

    • An insulating concrete block adapted, to be interlocked with other insulating concrete blocks to form an insulating concrete form for casting concrete. The insulating concrete block including a first foam panel and a second foam panel supported in a spaced apart, parallel relationship to form a concrete receiving cavity.
