摘要：本发明涉及一种雷公藤三萜合酶TwOSC3蛋白及其编码基因，将Twosc3基因的cDNA克隆到真核表达载体pYES2，构建带有Twosc3基因的重组表达载体，转入酵母表达宿主菌，可生产得到木栓酮。通过突变研究结果表明，Twosc3基因编码的氨基酸482为关键位点，可以提高或降低木栓酮或香树素的产量。通过基因枪介导的干扰实验表明，Twosc3基因的干扰对于雷公藤中雷公藤红素的合成有明显的抑制作用，本发明TwOSC3蛋白及其编码基因可用于生物合成植物三萜类化合物，以及培育高品质的雷公藤。
