A process control apparatus generates a plurality of electrical operating data signals, each signal corresponding to an operating parameter of the valve. A valve control apparatus transmits voltage to the coil of the valve to control the operation of the valve, the valve control apparatus receiving at least one operating data signal generated by the process control apparatus. A current flow is created in the coil of the valve upon receiving voltage from the valve control apparatus. A current senses the flow of current in the electrically controlled valve, and creates an electrical signal responsive to the current flow in the coil of the valve. When the signal created by the current sensing apparatus is applied to the valve control apparatus, the valve control apparatus modifies the operation of the valve responsive to the signal created by the current sensing apparatus.

Ink jet technology and lithographic systems may be combined in such a way to create a fully variable and high-quality print system. An aqueous solution is applied to a cylinder to produce a first negative image. A positive image in ink is transferred to a print medium. Residue ink and aqueous solution is then cleaned from the cylinder and aqueous solution is applied to the cylinder to produce a second negative image. The systems and methods described herein may be used to create high-quality one-to-one marketing applications.

摘要： A device for processing substrates improves processing quality during separation or punching of such substrates. The device has a first processing cylinder and a second processing cylinder for treating substrates, and between which the substrate can be inserted. The substrate undergoes processing as it passes through the cylinder nip between the processing cylinders by use of tool parts that are active therein, and which may be chosen from a group composed of cutting tools, punching tools, creasing tools, perforating tools and grooving tools.
