    • A radiator arrangement in a vehicle (1) powered by a combustion engine (2). The arrangement includes an AC system (20) with a circulating refrigerant which gives off heat in a condenser (12) and absorbs heat in an evaporator (23) and the evaporator is in contact with air close to a cab space (24) in the vehicle (1). A line circuit in which circulating coolant comes into heat-transferring contact with the engine (2). The condenser (12) is in heat-transferring contact with coolant which circulates through the line circuit. An activator for the AC system (20) causes coolant to be circulated through the line circuit when the engine (2) is not in operation. When the engine (2) is cold, coolant in the line circuit delivers thermal energy it acquires in the condenser (12).

    • An arrangement for converting thermal energy to mechanical energy in a vehicle (1). A working medium is vaporised by a heat source (3) in the vehicle (1) and is thereafter expanded through a turbine (13) generating mechanical energy. A control unit (31) receives information indicating the vehicle (1) is to be braked and connects the cooling system (21, 39) of the vehicle to the vehicle's power train (2, 5-9) to cool a refrigerant to a low temperature. The control unit (31) receives information that the vehicle (1) requires extra propulsive force and, uses the cooled refrigerant to subject the working medium in the line circuit (10) to a second step of cooling before it is led to the evaporator (12). The condensation temperature of the working medium may thus be lowered and more mechanical energy may be generated in the turbine (13).

    • An arrangement for cooling oil in a gearbox of a vehicle which is powered by a combustion engine. An oil cooler is fitted in the vehicle close to the gearbox. An oil system circulates oil between the gearbox and the oil cooler. An oil circuit contains a circulating coolant to cool the oil in the oil cooler. A cooling element cools the coolant by air which flows through the cooling element. The cooling element is situated at a location in the vehicle where air at the temperature of the surroundings flows through it. The cooling circuit includes a line to lead the cooled coolant from the cooling element to the oil cooler. The oil in the oil cooler can thus be cooled to a temperature close to the temperature of the surroundings.
