    • Described are an ink composition comprising water, a colorant and acrylic silicone resin particles having alkoxysilyl groups; and an image recording method comprising discharging the droplet of an ink composition from a recording head to record an image on a substrate, wherein an ink composition comprising water, a colorant and acrylic silicone resin particles having alkoxysilyl groups is used as the ink composition. According to the present invention, 1) blotting of the ink composition on the substrate can be prevented, 2) an image which has water resistance and has a markedly high image density can be obtained, 3) an image does not become sticky even under a high environmental temperature, and 4) there is no problem in safety.

    • The ink composition of the present invention comprises water, colorant and fine particles of a resin containing fluoroolefin units. The fine particles of resin may be preferably fine particles of fluorine-containing vinyl ether resin composed of fluoroolefin units and vinyl ether units represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein X is selected from the group consisting of F, CF.sub.3 and Cl; Y is selected from the group consisting of R.sub.2, R.sub.3 OH and R.sub.4 COOH; R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is an alkyl group having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are alkylene groups having from 1 to 18 carbon atoms respectively, n and m are integers, and the ratio of m to n, m/n, is in the range of 1/99 to 99/1. The ink composition of the present invention is able to record an image of high density and superior water resistance with only a small amount of ink.

    • There are provided a recording liquid that produces high-quality images having a very high image density and water resistance without blotting or permeating into recording paper, and excels in discharging properties; and a method for recording images by the use of such a solution. The recording liquid for ink printers according to the present invention contains a colorant, water, and a fine particle of non-photo-curable resin and a fine particle of photo-curable resin. The method for recording images on a recording medium has the step of discharging the droplets of the recording liquid from a recording head, wherein the above recording liquid is used as the recording liquid.

    • An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed, comprising at least a substrate having thereon a charge transporting layer and a charge generating layer, wherein the charge transporting layer is a porous anodized aluminum film which is formed by anodic oxidation of a substrate at least a surface of which comprises aluminum or an aluminum alloy, with the pores thereof being filled with a metal. The electrophotographic photoreceptor can be produced by a process comprising subjecting a substrate at least a surface of which comprises aluminum or an aluminum alloy to anodic oxidation in a 1 to 30% by weight acid aqueous solution containing at least one inorganic polybasic acid selected from the group consisting of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, chromic acid, etc. or at least one organic polybasic acid selected from the group consisting of oxalic acid, malonic acid, tartaric acid, etc. by a direct current at a current density of from 0.1 to 10 A.multidot.dm.sup.-2 or a substantially equal electrical current to form a porous anodized aluminum film on the substrate, filling a metal in the pores of said porous anodized aluminum film by electrolysis in an aqueous solution containing a salt of the metal to form a charge transporting layer comprising the metal-filled porous anodized aluminum film, and then forming a charge generating layer on the charge transporting layer. The metal-filled porous anodized aluminum film is free from defects and exhibits satisfactory adhesion to a charge generating layer and excellent mechanical strength.
