摘要： A composite magnetic head includes a read/write head section of a number of thin film or bulk read/write heads joined such that respective head gaps are aligned at predetermined intervals in the widthwise direction of tracks of a recording medium. An erase head section of a plurality of bulk heads respectively corresponding to the thin film or bulk read/write heads is joined to the read/write section through a magnetic shielding member, such that respective erase head gaps are aligned at predetermined intervals in the widthwise direction of the recording medium tracks. The read/write head section and the erase head section are joined in the longitudinal direction of the tracks such that the read/write head gaps and the erase head gaps of the respective sections are relatively close to each other, and the recorded data can be completely erased notwithstanding azimuth and spacing losses.

A means (SW1-SW4, 77) can be added for two magnetic heads so that a predetermined voltage-divided signal of a read signal of one magnetic head differentially acts on a read signal of the other magnetic head. A step-up transformer (31, 32) can be mounted on a base (7) so as to step up the level of the signal picked up by a head chip (6) mounted on the base (7). A read/write switch circuit (100), a write amplifier (93), and a differential input amplifier (90) can be formed into a hybrid IC and mounted on the base (7).

摘要： An electronic camera includes three detachable units, a photographing unit, a record/play-back unit and a picture monitor unit. The photographing unit converts an output signal from a camera into a luminance signal and color difference signals. The record/play-back unit records an output signal from the photographing unit on a disk and is capable of reading a signal previously recorded on a disk. The picture monitor unit displays a picture responsive to a signal from the photographing unit or a signal from the record/play-back unit. The aforesaid units are provided with arrays of terminals electrically connected to electrical devices within their unit. A group of unique connectors establish electrical connections between the terminals of two of the one units. The connectors are designed to be coupled between any one of the associated arrays of terminals. One type of connector provides direct electrical connections between terminals of the associated arrays. A second of connector type includes electrical connections similar to those provided in the first connector type and further includes a built-in sync generator for generating a plurality of sync signals, said second connector having terminals for connecting said signals to predetermined ones of the terminals in an array of terminals provided along the housing of a unit. The use of these separate connectors reduces the number of sync generators required for the camera system and eliminates the need to build generators into each camera unit.

摘要： A structure of a panel which can be thinned down to about a panel thickness of a PDP and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A gas filling hole is provided to a surface of a rear glass substrate of a PDP, the surface coming in contact with a front glass substrate of the PDP. Vacuuming and filling of a discharge gas are performed through the gas filling hole. After filling of the discharge gas, a mechanism for lifting solder iron up and down and supplying solder provided inside a chamber inserts a tip of an ultrasonic soldering iron into the gas filling hole to start supplying a solder which is a material for a plug sealant. When a series of forming steps of the plug sealant are finished, the ultrasonic soldering iron is retreated before the solder is solidified to finish formation of the plug sealant.

Then, a faulty-block processing is performed only for the addresses, for which it is determined that retry of writing is required, thereby preventing an increase of faulty-blocks.
