摘要： To provide a light-transmitting window material made of a spinel sintered body, wherein the largest diameter of pores contained in the light-transmitting window material is not more than 100 μm, and the number of pores having a largest diameter of not less than 10 μm is not more than 2.0 per 1 cm3 of the light-transmitting window material, and wherein light scattering factors are further reduced, and a method for producing a spinel light-transmitting window material including the steps of preparing a spinel molded body; a primary sintering step of sintering the spinel molded body at normal pressure or less or in a vacuum at a temperature in the range of 1500 to 1900° C.; and a secondary sintering step of sintering the spinel molded body under pressure at a temperature in the range of 1500 to 2000° C., wherein the relative density of the spinel molded body after the primary sintering step is 95 to 96% and the relative density of the spinel molded body after the secondary sintering step is 99.8% or more.

With such characteristics, the main surface of the substrate to be bonded to a piezoelectric substrate of the SAW device can be bonded satisfactorily to the piezoelectric material forming the piezoelectric substrate utilizing van der Waals interaction.

摘要： Provided is a substrate that can be made to have a suitable strength with low-cost and that can be bonded firmly to a piezoelectric substrate. The substrate, which is for SAW devices, consists of spinel, and the PV value of the difference in level of one of the main faces of the substrate is 2 nm to 8 nm inclusive. The average roughness (Ra) value of the one of the main faces of the substrate is preferably 0.01 nm to 3.0 nm inclusive, more preferably 0.01 nm to 0.5 nm inclusive. Also the Young's modulus of the spinel substrate, which is for the SAW device or other devices, is preferably 150 GPa to 350 GPa inclusive.

There is also provided a method for producing the transparent polycrystalline spinel substrate comprising a step for preparing a spinel powder, a step for molding the spinel powder and producing a spinel formed body, a step for sintering the spinel formed body and producing a spinel sintered body, and a step for subjecting the spinel sintered body to hot isostatic pressing (HIP) and producing a spinel polycrystalline body. There is further provided a liquid crystal projector and a receiver for rear-projection television having the aforementioned transparent polycrystalline spinel substrate.

摘要： An input/output screen creating system, which creates an input/output screen to be used in a work processing system, has an object storage unit, an input/output screen creating unit, a grid display unit, and an input/output screen storage unit. The input/output screen storage unit stores the input/output screen having the objects arranged with them being related with the grids therein.
