    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double sliding sash, whose paper screens can be electrically closed and locked, to be manufactured at a low cost without changing a substantial structure of an existing one. SOLUTION: The invention is provided with a frame 1, an inner paper screen 2 as well as an outer paper screen 3, a paper-screen driving device 4, a receiver 5, sensors 6a, 6b for confirming closing of the paper screens, a controller 7, locks 8a, 8b. The paper-screen driving device 4 includes pulleys 9a, 9b provided respectively at both ends of a lateral frame 12, an endless belt 10 disposed between the pulleys and a motor 11 for rotationally driving one pulley. The sensor for confirming closing of the paper screens is mounted on the frame or the paper screen. The locks have dead bolts 14 which move toward the outside from the room, so that the dead bolts are engaged to the inner side of the paper screens for prohibiting the paper screens from moving when the inner paper screen and the outer paper screen are closed. The controller rotates the motor according to a closing signal received by the receiver and controls the rotation halt of the motor and the projection of the dead bolt of the lock according to a close confirmation signal from the sensor for confirming closing of the paper screen.
