    • The present invention discloses a lane departure warning method, which functions to choose the data acquiring source according to brightness of the environment surrounding a vehicle and weather status so as to reduce the erroneous judgment of lane departure during image processing and analyzing. In addition, the present invention also presents a lane departure warning apparatus using the foregoing method, which comprises at least a first information acquisition unit, at least a second information acquisition and a information processing/information processing/controlling unit. The first information acquisition unit disposed on the vehicle is capable of capturing the image around the vehicle while the second information acquisition unit disposed on the bottom of the vehicle is capable of capturing image under the bottom of the vehicle. The image acquired from the first information acquisition unit and the second information acquisition unit is then sent to the processing and information processing/controlling unit for data processing.

When the lane departure is occurred, the processing and information processing/controlling unit can operate an alarm unit to generate an alert signal to remind the driver.

    • The present invention relates to an assistant monitor method for vehicle, comprising steps of: projecting a light beam to illuminate objects surrounding a transportation means; receiving the reflected light of the light beam so as to generate an electric image signal accordingly; generating a status signal by detecting and sensing the status of the transportation means; processing the status signal so as to correspondingly generate a control signal; and adjusting the projecting angle of the light beam and the receiving angle to receive the reflected light beam according to the control signal. Moreover, according to the method, the present invention also provides an assistant monitor apparatus of for vehicle to implement the foregoing method. By means of the aforesaid apparatus provided in the present invention, the projecting direction of the light projector and a sensing angle of the image sensor for receiving the reflected light can be controlled to reduce blind spots of a rear mirror of the transportation means while avoiding the whitening effect to be generated on the rear mirror, such that safety of the driver driving the transportation mean along with the ambient vehicles and pedestrians can be ensured.

    • A method for predicting lane line is provided in the present invention, in which the method is capable of predicting and reconstructing the unidentified lane line according to a predetermined geometry relationship based on the recognized lane line data previously while one side of lane line is unable to be identified. In one embodiment, a lane predicting relationship formula is formed by describing the geometry relationship between the two identified lines defined the lane. When the one side of line of the lane is unable to be identified, a new predicted line can be reconstructed for representing the unidentified line of lane according to the lane predicting relationship curve. In another embodiment, a lane departure warning system utilizing the foregoing method is provided for monitoring vehicle moving status and alerting the driver so as to enhance the vehicle safety.
