    • A microwave oven includes a power supplying part, a cooking chamber, a door of the cooking chamber, a magnetron, and high and low voltage generating parts supplying voltage to the magnetron, further including: a door switch installed on branch lines of a power line toward the high and low voltage generating parts, operating depending on opening and closing the door and selectively connecting the power supplying part with the high and low voltage generating parts; a power saving switch controlling a connection between the power supplying part and the low voltage generating part; and a controller switching off the power saving switch when a predetermined time elapses after the magnetron stops operating. With this configuration, in the microwave oven, a power saving function can be automatically selected, and automatically suspended when the door is opened.

    • A method for controlling a microwave oven including a power supply part supplying an AC power, a high voltage transformer generating a high voltage with the AC power generated from the power supply part, a magnetron generating electromagnetic waves with the high voltage generated from the high voltage transformer, and a control signal generator part supplying a control signal to the magnetron, the method including the steps of: setting up a reference oscillation time; measuring the time when the magnetron starts being oscillated according to the control signal; comparing the reference oscillation time with the oscillation start time; and adjusting a pulse width of the control signal where the reference oscillation time is longer than the oscillation start time. With this configuration, the temporary surge operation and the noise generation can be lowered in the hot state, thereby serving to enhance a stability of the circuit.

    • Disclosed is a microwave oven, including a power supply part supplying a commercial AC power, a rectifier and filter part rectifying and filtering the commercial AC power, a high voltage transformer generating a high voltage with the DC power from said rectifier and filter part, a magnetron generating electromagnetic waves by the high voltage supplied from said high voltage transformer. The microwave oven further includes a control signal generator part generating a control signal; an inverter part converting the DC power supplied from said rectifier and filter part into an AC power with a high voltage; and a control part determining whether said control signal converted by said high voltage transformer is within a predetermined range, and preventing said control signal from being applied to said magnetron where the control signal is determined to be beyond the predetermined range. With this configuration, abnormal control signal is controlled, thereby being capable of more securely protecting a circuit system of the microwave oven.

    • Disclosed is a microwave oven comprising a power supply part supplying a commercial alternating current (AC) power, a rectifying and filtering part rectifying and filtering the commercial AC power, a high voltage transformer generating a high voltage by means of direct current (DC) power from the rectifying and filtering part; and a magnetron generating electromagnetic waves based on the high voltage from the high voltage transformer, further comprising a control signal generator part generating a control signal; an inverter part converting the DC power from the rectifying and filtering part into a high voltage AC power based on the control signal from the control signal generator part, and a control part blocking the control signal converted through the inverter part from being applied to the magnetron if the converted control signal is not within a predetermined range. With this configuration, the converted control signal which is not within the predetermined range allowed by the control signal can be prevented from entering into the circuit in advance, thereby stabilizing the circuit and improving the stability of the circuit system more and more.

    • Disclosed is a voice registration method for voice recognition, comprising the steps of analyzing a spectrum of a sound signal inputted from the outside; extracting predetermined language units for a speaker recognition from a voice signal in the sound signal; measuring the loudness of each language unit; collecting voice data on registered (background) speakers including loudness data of the plurality of background speakers as a reference onto voice database; determining whether the loudness of each language unit is within a predetermined loudness range based on the voice data base; learning each language unit by using a multi-layer perceptron in the case that at least a predetermined number of language units are within the predetermined loudness range; and storing data on the learned language unit as data for recognizing the speaker. With this configuration, loudness of a speaker is considered at learning for registering his/her voice and at verifying a speaker.
