    • The present invention provides a method for producing a calcium phosphate coating film on the surface of a substrate, even a substrate which has poor heat resistance. The method comprises the steps of soaking a substrate in a first solution containing phosphate ions, inter alia, aqueous solutions of a basic phosphate salt such as Na.sub.3 PO.sub.4 or Na.sub.2 HPO.sub.4 ; removing the substrate and drying it; and soaking the substrate in a second solution (aqueous solution) containing calcium ions, to thereby obtain a coating film comprising hydroxyapatite or a mixture containing hydroxyapatite and a hydroxyapatite precursor. The substrate removed from the second solution may be soaked in a third solution (aqueous solution) containing an apatite component at a substantially saturated or supersaturated concentration, to thereby form a hydroxyapatite coating film. There may be used substrates formed of metals, ceramics, organic polymer materials, etc. The method is applicable to a substrate having poor heat resistance, such as synthetic resin fabric, due to omission of high-temperature treatment.

    • A radio-frequency heating apparatus with a range hood includes: a radio-frequency heating device having a range hood; a plurality of lighting lamps (41 42) for lighting under the radio-frequency heating device; and dimming device (49) provided with TRIAC (44) for controlling luminance of lighting lamps (41, 42), wherein the plurality of lighting lamps (41, 42) are connected in series. With this arrangement, even if a short-circuiting failure occurs in one of the lamps, the inside resistance of the other lamp can restrict a short-circuiting current, thereby preventing an overcurrent from flowing in dimming device (49) during short-circuit.

    • A radio frequency heating apparatus includes a printed circuit board on which power-supply noise filter circuit (20) that reduces power-supply noise generated by magnetron (15) and power-supply synchronization detecting circuit (21) that is connected across both terminals of power supply for detecting information on power-supply frequency are mounted. Power-supply synchronization detecting circuit (21) is used as a discharge path for charge accumulated at both ends of capacitor (3) configuring power-supply noise filter circuit (20). This achieves the radio frequency heating apparatus that eliminates the risk of electric shock, reduces power consumption, and reduces the number of components.
