摘要： A cooling device that cools the inside of an image forming apparatus provided with a developer carrier that carries an image developed with a developer while being rotated. The cooling device includes: a counting unit that counts an accumulative number of rotation of the developer carrier; and a fan that cools the inside of the image forming apparatus. The cooling device further includes: a calculating unit that calculates an abrasion amount of the developer carrier in which the accumulative number of rotation counted by the counting unit is used as at least one variable; and a controlling unit that actuates the fan with cooling efficiency according to the abrasion amount calculated by the calculating unit.

摘要： It is a purpose of the invention to provide a dust protector for an image exposure device capable of preventing particles from sticking to windows or the like of the image exposure device and free from moisture condensation on the windows or the like of the image exposure device as a result of direct exposure of the same to the atmosphere and an image forming apparatus utilizing the same. The purpose is achieved by providing a dust protector for an image exposure device for performing image exposure on a member to be exposed from below with a dust protective member for preventing particles from sticking to at least a member located above an optical path of the image exposure device by covering the image exposure device from above without blocking the optical path of the image exposure device and an air flow generating unit for generating an air flow that prevents particles from entering the region covered by the dust protective member.

Each rotator including a pair of holding portions that are provided with a space interposed therebetween and that are able to hold the metal linear objects. The connection method also includes holding the vicinities of end portions of the metal linear objects at the holding portions of the rotators to hang the metal linear objects therebetween so that the vicinities of the end portions of the metal linear objects are overlapped with each other in an axis direction and rotating the rotators relatively in the opposite directions around between the pair of holding portions as a rotation center. As a result, the metal linear objects are twisted with each other between the rotators to perform connection.
