    • Pole core members of a rotor are fitted on a rotary shaft with claw-shaped magnetic poles engaged with one another from front and rear sides. Each of magnet mounting members for holding magnets against side surfaces of each magnetic pole has magnet retaining portions on both sides and a platelike middle portion. Located between two adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles, each magnet produces a magnetic field oriented in a direction opposite to the direction of a magnetic flux formed between the adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles. The claw-shaped magnetic pole has a stopper portion at its extreme end on an inclined inside surface. The magnet mounting member carrying the magnets in the magnet retaining portions is mounted on each claw-shaped magnetic pole with the middle portion of the magnet mounting member situated against the inclined inside surface of the magnetic pole, and a backup ring is fitted inside the magnet mounting members.

    • An output terminal board of this invention is capable of improving easy and simple installation of an electric rotating machine and wiring output harnesses so as to avoid thermal influence from a stator. The electric rotating machine 2 for vehicle acting as a moter or a generator includes brackets 7 and 15 on both front side (pulley side) and rear side of a stator. Further, the electric rotating machine 2 includes a stator three-phase output line output portion and is provided with an output terminal board 8 at one bracket 7, the output terminal board 8 having a terminal for connecting the three-phase output harnesses 6 connected to an external controller. This output terminal board 8 is disposed in such a manner as being capable of joining to the bracket 7 side on which the output terminal board 8 is mounted, and the three output harnesses 6 are taken out substantially in parallel to one another.

    • A stator of an electric rotating machine is improved in efficiency of inserting a winding assembly into slots and insulation performance after the insertion. The stator 8 acting as an armature includes an insulator 4 of a two-layer structure in which paper 9 is disposed on the stator winding side and resin 10 on the stator core side or a two-layer structure in which the paper and resin are disposed in a opposite manner, a stator core 2 in which plural slots 2a each extending in vertical axial direction are provided in circumferential direction, and a stator winding 3 wound round the stator core 2. The insulator 4 electrically insulates the stator core 2 and the stator winding 3.
