    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light intensity distribution correction optical system configured so that the intensity distribution of diverging light from a light source is made to be uniform, light utilization efficiency is improved, a difference in NA of the light source is easily absorbed, and cost reduction is achieved, and also to provide an optical microscope using the light intensity distribution correction optical system.SOLUTION: The light intensity distribution correction optical system corrects the intensity distribution of incident light having largely different divergent angles in XY planar directions to a flat intensity distribution. The light intensity distribution correction optical system includes: a first lens group 42 which is composed of at least one cylindrical lens having a positive refractive power in the large divergent angle direction of the incident light and not having a refractive power in a direction perpendicular to the direction; and a second lens group 43 which is composed of at least one cylindrical lens disposed behind the first lens group 42, and having a positive refractive power in the small divergent angle direction of the incident light and not having a refractive power in a direction perpendicular to the direction. The light intensity distribution correction optical system is configured to collimate the incident light emitted from a point light source 41 having the largely different divergent angles in the XY planar directions, and makes the intensity distribution of the incident light flat by the spherical aberrations of the respective lens groups 42 and 43 to emit the incident light.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toxin removal amount measuring method or the like for easily and accurately recognizing a toxin removal amount in hemodialysis.
SOLUTION: A part of waste liquid of dialysate is sampled through a solenoid valve 21, and timing of sampling by the solenoid valve 21 is instructed by a timer 22. The timer 22 starts counting time at the start of dialysis on the basis of a signal from a dialysis controller 23 which executes control required for the dialysis by a dialyzer 1. The waste liquid of the dialysate sampled during the dialysis is preserved in a container 24. Also, by time-integrating a flow rate during the dialysis obtained by a flowmeter 26 in a control operation part 31, the total amount of the waste liquid of the dialysate is calculated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochip reader capable of suppressing the change in the quantity of exciting light based on the positional shift in the optical axis direction of the biochip to suppress the lowering of reading precision.
SOLUTION: An illumination optical system 20 is constituted so that an exciting light beam vertically illuminates the whole surface 11 of the biochip 1. Accordingly, the intensity of the exciting light beam is not changed even if the position of the surface 11 of the biochip 1 is shifted from a regular position in the P-direction (optical axis direction) shown by Fig.1. As a result, a change in the intensity of the exciting light or the lowering of detection precision caused by intensity irregularity can be prevented.
