    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an accurate decision even when a measured value increases gradually and when the measured value varies abruptly as operation is changed by checking one kind of measured value from various angles and totally deciding the check result by employing main component analysis. SOLUTION: An abnormal value detection logic arithmetic unit 2 consists of two 1st and 2nd devices. The 1st abnormal value detection logic arithmetic unit consists of a basic data arithmetic unit 211, a variation quantity overestimate arithmetic unit 212, a similar instrument comparing arithmetic unit 213, and a prediction error arithmetic unit 214. The 2nd abnormal value detection logic arithmetic unit consists of a trend arithmetic unit 221 and a variation quantity underestimate arithmetic unit 222. The measured value is checked from various angles such as the measured value, variation quantity overestimation, variation quantity underestimation, comparison with similar instruments, trends, and relation with other instruments. Then main component analysis is employed to totally decide the result of abnormal value detection logic.

    • PURPOSE: To apply a water distribution quantity predicting method even if the number of data is small and quickly respond to the changes of the environment by determining the predicted value of the periodic fluctuation component of the distribution quantity, determining the remainder component except the fluctuation component with a self-regression model, and using the sum of two predicted values as the distribution quantity predicted value. CONSTITUTION: Water is distributed from a distributing reservoir 1 via natural flow-down. The distribution flow is detected by a distribution detector 2, and the actual result, weather, predicted weather, and predicted temperature are inputted to an input device. The input data collected by a measured value storage device 5 are accumulated, and average fluctuation patterns for the day of the week, time, and weather are generated by an average fluctuation pattern generating device 6. The correction coefficient for the rainy day is determined by a correction coefficient generating device 7 based on the ratio between the average values of the distribution quantities on rainy days and on days other than rainy days in the past. The stored measured value of the measured value storage device 5, the average fluctuation pattern of the average fluctuation pattern generating device 6, and the correction coefficient are inputted to a system variable data generating device 8, and the data excluded with the effect of weather and day of the week and the system variable data of temperature are generated.

    • PURPOSE:To keep stability of a system even at a time for fluctuation of load and to realize an optimum control system by controlling a lower rank controlling device by an additional controlled variable adjusting device in accordance with the difference of both the measured value of a specified item and the target value calculated by the arithmetic device of a higher rank controlling system. CONSTITUTION:A controlling device for sewage treatment is equipped with a lower rank controlling system and a higher rank controlling system. The lower rank controlling system stabilizes the specified item of a controlling device for activated sludge treatment. The higher rank controlling system uses an incorporated linear model as one part of a treating device having the lower rank controlling system. A controlled variable adjusting device 45 is added to the optimization device 31 of the higher rank controlling system. In order to stabilize a system constituted of an arithmetic device 39 for excess sludge quantity, an arithmetic device 41 for returned sludge quantity and an arithmetic device 43 for aerated air quantity, the signals of the target value and the measured value of the specified item and a control signal outputted from the optimization device 31 are inputted. The lower rank controlling device is controlled in accordance with the difference of both the measured value of the specified item and the control signal outputted from the optimization device 31.

    • PURPOSE:To homogenize the drawn amount of excess sludge in the respective sewage disposal series by outputting the output signal of an arithmetic device for the ratio of measured flow rate to a regulator of the flow rate of excess sludge and controlling this regulator in the respective sewage disposal series. CONSTITUTION:Arithmetic devices 12A to 12C for the ratio of measured flow rate calculated and output the ratio of output of flow meters 7A to 7C of excess sludge for the outlet of arithmetic devices 10A to 10C for the flow rate of request excess sludge. A regulator 13 for the ratio of the measured flow rate compares the arithmetic ratio of the arithmetic devices 12A to 12C for the ratio of measured flow rate with the standard ratio of measured flow rate preset in a setter 14 of the standard ratio of measured flow rate. When the whole ratio of measured flow rate is higher than the standard ratio of measured flow rate, the whole ratio is outputted to the regulators 11A to 11C for the flow rate of excess sludge without correcting the request flow rate of excess sludge. When a series having the ratio of measured flow rate lower than the standard ratio of measured flow rate is present, the corrected request flow rate of excess sludge is calculated so that the ratio of the measured flow rate in the whole sewage disposal series is made equal to the smallest ratio of measured flow rate. This corrected request flow rate of excess sludge is output to the regulators for the flow rate of excess sludge.

    • PURPOSE:To homogenize the conditions relating to the amount of activated sludge of the respective aertors in a plurality of sewage disposal systems. CONSTITUTION:In a sewage disposal controlling device equipped with a plurality of sewage disposal systems wherein sewage is introduced into aerators and mixed with returned sludge and air is supplied into the aerators to perform purification of sewage, the necessary flow rate of returned sludge is calculated by algorithm for maintaining the ratio of the flow rate of returned sludge constant for the flow rate of sewage introduced into the aerators in the arithmetic devices 10A, 10B of requested returned sludge. The measured flow rate arithmetic devices 11A, 11B calculate the ratio of the measured value for the request amount of returned sludge from both the output of these arithmetic devices and the output signals of the flow meters 6A, 6B of returned sludge. The ratio of both the necessary flow rate of returned sludge and the measured value in a plurality of sewage disposal systems is calculated by an arithmetic device 12 for regulating the rate of flow rate so that the ratio is made constant. The operation state of the sewage disposal systems is homogenized by opening and closing the control valves 7A, 7B of returned sludge in the sewage disposal systems wherein the ratio of the measured flow rate is early made large.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormal trend of measurement, which may be missed inadvertently by an operator and can not be detected based on the upper and lower limits of computer, automatically by means of a computer by making a decision that the measurement is abnormal when the variation in the daily average of past measurements deviates from the upper (or lower) limit of decision criterion continuously by a set number of times or more. SOLUTION: A variation operating unit 20 determines variation in the past daily average value operated by a daily average operating unit 19. A decision criterion memory 21 stores decision criteria for the variation in daily average value. A trend operating unit 22 decides whether the variation in daily average value operated by the unit 20 exceeds the decision criteria stored in the memory 21 or not. An abnormal number of time memory 23 stores the number of times for deciding that the measurement is abnormal when the variation in the daily average value exceeds a same value (upper limit, lower limit) stored in the memory 21 continuously. An abnormal value decision unit 24 compares the output value from the unit 22 with a reference value stored in the memory 23 and makes a decision that the measurement is abnormal when the reference value is exceeded.
