摘要： A signal processing unit (11,12,13) is provided for converting the output signals of the spacial filter unit (40) in to a signal representing the movement of each target object. An arithmetic processing unit is provided, for computing data assigned by the position of the target object (23) moving in the target region (21), on the basis of an output signal of the signal processing unit. The arithmetic processing unit (14) computes the data connected with the range and movement of the target object. It also computes the data connected with the position of the target object. 摘要： PURPOSE:To attain highly developed measurement by detecting the movement of an object by a photoelectric converter using a spatial filter and computing the active quantity, average speed, etc., of the object based upon a detection signal. CONSTITUTION:When the outputs of comb-shaped electrodes 41, 42 in the photoelectric converter 5 are inputted from their electrode terminals and the electrode terminal of a common electrode 2 to the input terminal of a differential amplifier circuit 11, their output difference is found out and amplified. When the movement of the object moving at random is projected to the converter 5 and moved, a brightness change is generated and converted into an electric signal by the converter 5. The signal allows only the signal frequency of the object to be detected by a band pass filter(BPF) 12 to pass. The signal is inputted to an A/D conversion circuit 10 and outputted to an arithmetic processing circuit 14. The circuit 14 executes various operation such as the calculation of the number of objects, an average speed and congestion and information such as the degree of congestion relating to the object is outputted to an output circuit based upon an output signal from the circuit 14.
