    • A packaging form or blank for one or more lipped containers, where each of the containers has an upper lip that extends outward beyond the periphery of the container body, and where the containers have been placed one inside another to create a nested stack configuration. The form or blank is an elongated, flat construction that defines an opening that is sized and shaped such that when a container body is inserted through the opening, the form rests against the bottom of the lip of the container at the bottom of the stack. When the form is then folded over the stack, the form rests against the top of the lip of the container at the top of the stack. The form or blank also comprises one or more longitudinally-extending sections adapted to be folded to span the space on one side between the form portions that are adjacent to the lips of the containers at the bottom and top of the stack, and laterally-extending flaps that are adapted to be folded to span the spaces between the form portions on two other sides adjacent to the one side, to fully enclose the folded form around the lips of the stack of containers.

    • An analog encoder of one embodiment of the invention is disclosed that includes an input mechanism, a digital signal processing mechanism, and an output mechanism. The input mechanism is to receive and digitize different analog encoder signals. The digital signal processing mechanism is to generate inverse analog encoder signals from the different analog encoder signals, and to apply dynamically changeable gain and offset corrections in real-time. The output mechanism is to generate digital quadrature signals from crossing points among the analog encoder signals and the inverse analog encoder signals, and a position value based on a direction of the digital quadrature signals for external access.

    • A sensor is associated with a mounting surface. An O-ring is then positioned between the sensor and the mounting surface, such that the O-ring is compressible when the sensor is fixed to the mounting surface. A fixing mechanism is generally provided for permanently fixing the sensor to the mounting surface, such that the O-ring located between the sensor and the mounting surface provides a proper tension thereof which prevents the sensor from being adversely affected by vibration resulting from a harsh vibration environment in which the sensor operates. The fixing mechanism can be implemented as a fixing joint between the sensor and the mounting surface. Additionally, the O-ring and the sensor are configured with respect to one another and the mounting surface to maintain tension in the fixing joint.
