    • This invention relates to a front electrode/contact for use in an electronic device such as a photovoltaic device. In certain example embodiments, the front electrode of a photovoltaic device or the like includes a multilayer coating including at least one transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layer (e.g., of or including a material such as tin oxide, ITO, zinc oxide, or the like) and/or at least one conductive substantially metallic IR reflecting layer (e.g., based on silver, gold, or the like). In certain example instances, the multilayer front electrode coating may include one or more conductive metal(s) oxide layer(s) and/or one or more conductive substantially metallic IR reflecting layer(s) in order to provide for reduced visible light reflection, increased conductivity, cheaper manufacturability, and/or increased infrared (IR) reflection capability.

    • A coated article includes a heat treatable (e.g., temperable) antireflection (AR) coating having four layers. The AR coating includes a layer adjacent the glass substrate having an index of refraction substantially matching that of the glass substrate, and having a compressive residual stress. In certain example embodiments, the coating may include the following layers from the glass substrate outwardly: stress-reducing layer/medium index layer/high index layer/low index layer. In certain example embodiments, depending on the chemical and optical properties of the high index layer and the substrate, the stress-reducing layer of the AR coating is selected to cause a net compressive residual stress and thus improve the overall performance of the antireflection coating when the coated article is heat treated.

    • A fishing rod having an integrally formed receptacle for receiving a remote portion of the fishing rod, when the fishing rod is in a disassembled state. The receptacle is positioned adjacent the handle member of the rod, and is used to receive one end of a remote portion of a fishing rod. The remote portion of the rod is then secured in parallel relation with the base portion of the rod, to facilitate transport and storage. In an alternate embodiment, a detachable rod holder may be mounted onto the base portion of the fishing rod, to accomplish the same task. The detachable rod holder may be attached in one of several places, including attachment underneath the set screw that holds the rod and reel together, or it may be attached by sandwiching the attachment tab between the rod and reel. A stay clip may be used near an upper end of the base portion of the rod, to secure that end of the base portion to the outer end of the remote portion. The rod holder itself holds the base portion and the remote portion of the rod in parallel relation, but the stay clip is an option to further secure the portions with relation to each other. In a preferred embodiment, the stay clip is integrally formed on the base portion of the rod, toward the upper tip opposite the handle member, and includes a clip for attaching the remote portion removably thereto. Alternatively, the stay clip may be removably secured to both the base portion and the remote portion of the rod, which allows the stay clip to be completely removed from the rod when the stay clip is not in use.
