摘要： A method and system for providing an energy assisted magnetic recording (EAMR) transducer coupled with a laser are described. The laser provides energy. The EAMR transducer has an air-bearing surface (ABS) configured to reside in proximity to a media during use. The EAMR transducer includes a near field transducer (NFT) proximate to the ABS for focusing the energy onto the region of the media. The method and system include providing a heat sink having a bottom thermally coupled with the NFT and a top surface at an angle with respect to the ABS. The angle is greater than zero and less than ninety degrees. The method and system also include providing a write pole and at least one coil. The write pole is configured to write to a region of the media. The write pole has a bottom surface thermally coupled with the top surface of the heat sink. The at least one coil is for energizing 24.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process comprising the steps of a) contacting an aqueous dispersion of a TiO2 slurry containing adsorbing dispersant with an adsorbing latex to form a mixture, wherein the pH of the mixture of the TiO2 slurry and adsorbing latex are sufficiently high to inhibit interaction between the TiO2 and the adsorbing latex; then b) lowering the pH of the mixture of step a) sufficiently to promote interaction between the TiO2 and the adsorbing latex, thereby forming a composite. The process of the present invention provides for improved hiding and reduced grit for coatings compositions.

Such nanomotors operate based on bubble-induced propulsion in biological fluids and salt-rich environments. In one aspect, fabricating microengines includes depositing a polymer layer on a membrane template, depositing a conductive metal layer on the polymer layer, and dissolving the membrane template to release the multilayer microtubes.

摘要： A solution for associating network traffic to enterprise users in a terminal services environment includes, at a network device configured as a terminal server, monitoring outbound network connections. If an outbound network connection is detected, a record is created indicating an association between the network connection and an enterprise user that initiated the network connection. The record is reported to a remote packet monitor which maintains a permanent log of the record. The permanent log may be used for tagging observed network traffic with an owning user.
