摘要： A painting apparatus for a vehicle body is provided. The painting apparatus comprises a long paint booth through which the vehicle is conveyed, the paint booth including a plurality of stages positioned longitudinally in series, at least some of the plurality of stages being provided with painting robots disposed therein such that while the vehicle body is passed through the painting booth, inner and outer panel regions thereof are painted by the painting robots, wherein the vehicle body is stopped at each of the stages. Each of the painting robots comprises a multi-axis robot and bell-type atomizer attached thereto, and the plurality of stages are in communication with one another without partitions therebetween.

摘要： A method for supplying powder into a coating tank for electrophoretic powder coating comprises a first step for taking out a specified amount of plating bath of which the powder contained therein is reduced as a result of coating work, a second step in which the powder of much the same amount as the reduced amount of the powder is supplied to the plating bath taken out while the plating bath is being agitated to disperse the powder in the plating bath (the first dispersion) to form supplementary plating bath, a third step including the step for second dispersion of the powder in which the powder contained in the supplementary plating bath is further uniformly dispersed and a step for aging the supplementary plating bath with the dispersed powder, and a fourth step for supplying to the coating tank sufficiently aged supplementary plating bath which is obtained from the third step and has a high density of powder which is substantially uniformly dispersed in the supplementary plating bath, and an apparatus is one for executing that method.

摘要： A method for supplying binder into a coating tank for electrophoretic power coating comprises: a step for transferring into a solid/liquid separation tank a proper amount of plating bath liquid contained in the coating tank of which the binder component is reduced as a result of the work for coating a given number of articles; a step in which the plating bath liquid is left as it is so as to form supernatant liquid and residual liquid; a step for agitating the supernatant liquid in a supernatant tank; a step for returning the residual liquid to the coating tank; a step for supplying mother binder liquid corresponding in amount to the reduced binder component to a mixing tank; a step for transferring a given amount of the liquid in the supernatant liquid tank into the mixing tank; a step in which a proper amount of plating bath liquid in the coating tank is supplied into the mixing tank while being agitated to form replenisher or supplementary bath liquid; and a step for supplying the replenisher bath liquid into the coating tank. The method is realized by an apparatus of this invention for supplying binder into a coating tank for electrophoretic powder coating.
