    • The present invention relates to an optical interferometer and a microscope using the same, and the optical interferometer comprises: a light source; a beamsplitter which splits light generated from said light source; a polarization splitter which splits said light into lights having mutually vertical polarized directions; and a plurality of photo detectors which detect said split lights, wherein at least one of said photo detectors is a polarization change detector capable of detecting a polarization change if the emitted light reflected or transmitted on a sample has a polarization diversity. According to the present invention, polarization changes in accordance with samples can be detected such that the invention is applied to all sorts of analysis devices for relevant study or to various equipment, and further optical characteristics of the samples are measured in a more precise manner.

    • PURPOSE: An optical composite measuring apparatus and method are provided to implement accurate measurement by reducing noises and influences of external environments. CONSTITUTION: An optical composite measuring apparatus comprises a polarized light splitter(120), an astigmatic lens(170), and a signal output part(180). The polarized light splitter divides and guides the light from a light source(100) into an objective lens(130) and a back mirror(150) and guides measurement and reference light beams reflected off the objective lens and the back mirror to the astigmatic lens. The astigmatic lens allows the measurement and reference light beams to pass through and generates astigmatism. The signal output part receives the light passing through the astigmatic lens and outputs a phase transition interferential signal and a focus error signal(FES) at the same time.

    • PURPOSE: A barcode reader using a mixed mirror are provided to realize miniaturization and save manufacturing cost by realizing the barcode reader with the mixed mirror which a flat mirror and curved mirror are applied into one body. CONSTITUTION: A light source(110) outputs light. A mixed mirror comprises a flat mirror(121) of a flat type in a part of one side and a curved mirror(122) of a curved shape in the remaining part. The flat mirror reflects an outputted light by the light source and makes incident to a bar code(200). The curved mirror reflects the light reflected from the bar code. An optical detector detects the light reflected by the curved mirror.
