    • Oil or fat compositions contain the following ingredients: (A) an oil or fat containing from 60 to 100% by weight of diglyceride, by 100 parts by weight of the oil or fat composition, the diglyceride further comprising fatty acids, wherein the amount of fatty acids that are unsaturated is from 80 to 100 wt. %, by 100 parts by weight of the diglyceride; (B) from 0.001 to 1% by weight of ingredient (A) of a carboxylic acid selected from C2-8 hydroxycarboxylic acids, dicarboxylic acids and tricarboxylic acids, and salts derivatives thereof, and mixtures thereof; (C) from 0.001 to 5% by weight of ingredient (A) of an antioxidant; and (D) from 0.05 to 4.7% by weight of ingredient (A) of a plant sterol. Each of these preferred oil or fat compositions has a high diglyceride content having excellent health-promoting functions, and even in cold temperature areas or high-humidity areas, has improved external appearance, is good in work efficiency during cooking and also in the flavor and texture of cooked foods. Packaged edible oils or fats are also disclosed.

    • Foam quality and discharge properties are improved by using a squeeze container to discharge a mixed solution of first and second agents of a two-part hair cosmetic for hair dyeing or bleaching in a foam. A two-part hair cosmetic 1 for hair dyeing or bleaching includes a first agent A1 containing an alkaline agent and a second agent A2 containing hydrogen peroxide and a squeeze container 6 for discharging a mixed solution A3 of the first agent A1 and the second agent A2. The first agent A1 or second agent A2 contains a foaming agent. The mixed solution A3 thereof has a viscosity (25° C.) of from 1 mPa·s to 100 mPa·s. A squeeze foamer 5 of the squeeze container 6 has a gas-liquid mixing chamber 12 for causing the mixed solution to foam, foam homogenizing means 14 for homogenizing foam of the mixed solution which has been made to foam in the gas-liquid mixing chamber 12, and a discharge outlet 17 for discharging the homogenized foam. The ratio between the total volume of the first and second agents and the inner volume of the container body is in the range of from 0.30 to 0.60. The torso cross-section of the container body has a ratio of minor axis to major axis of from 0.5 to 1.0, and an area of from 12 cm2 to 30 cm2.

    • In a pump mechanism attached to a container to fill a liquid and eject the liquid from the container, the pump mechanism includes: a cylinder having a liquid introduction port; a piston which is displaceable in the cylinder; an ejection guide path for the liquid, the path being communicated with the space in the cylinder, the liquid stored in the cylinder being ejected via the ejection guide path by a pushing force which causes the piston to be displaced from the original position to a displaced position; and a recovery device for restoring the piston from the displaced position to the original position by a gas pressure and storing the liquid in the cylinder when the pushing force is released. The pushing force causes the space in the piston to enter a substantially vacuum state, and the gas pressure is generated by a pressure difference between the internal pressure of the space and atmospheric pressure acting via the liquid on the piston. With the pump mechanism, when it is to be subjected to a disposal process or a recycle process, it is not required to conduct selection according to the material and which can be therefore subjected to such a process at a low cost.
