    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new slide member of more excellent characteristics than ever and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The slide member has a base material and the slide layer which is formed at least at the slide face side of the above base material and which consists of a resin composition of a polyamideimide resin and an organized layered clay mineral dispersed uniformly in the above polyamideimide resin and of a solid lubricant supported with the above resin composition, characterized in that the above resin composition has an average linear expansion coefficient at 100-200°C of preferably 5×10 -5 /°C or less. The manufacturing method of the above slide member comprises the coating composition application step of coating at least on the slide face side of a base material a coating composition of a mixture of a resin solution consisting of a polyamideimide resin and a solvent to solve this polyamideimide resin, and of a solid lubricant powder and an organized layered clay mineral, and the slide layer formation step of forming a slide layer by removing the solvent for the above coating composition.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new paint composition that hardly degrades in spite of containing an organic titanosilicate and is capable of forming a paint film excellent in weatherability. SOLUTION: The paint composition is characterized by being formed by dissolving in a solvent the organic titanosilicate which is composed of an oxide of silicon and a metal containing a bond represented by M-O-M (M's indicate each independently a silicon atom or a metal atom) and contains an organic group bonding with at least part of the silicon atoms and of which at least part of the metal atoms are a titanium atom. The paint composition is further characterized by containing a stabilizer having radical-trapping ability and/or anti-oxidation ability. The paint film is prevented from degrading by adding the stabilizer that inhibits formation of an oxidative atmosphere caused by transition of the titanium atom and traps a radical.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coating composition capable of efficiently taking an organic and inorganic composite material, which comprises an oxide including a bond represented by M-O-M (wherein, Ms are each independently a silicon atom or a metal atom) and has an organic group bonded at least to a part of a silicon atom, into the coating composition. SOLUTION: An organoalkoxysilane having a silicon atom which has an alkoxy group and is covalently bonded to an organic group containing a radically polymerizable functional group, and a metal compound containing a metal atom are dissolved in a first solvent as a polar solvent to prepare a raw material solution, and an organic and inorganic composite material is synthesized by a reaction of the organoalkoxysilane and a metal compound. After the organic and inorganic composite material is dissolved in a second solvent by adding the second solvent incompatible with the solution after reaction to the solution after reaction, a solution incompatible with the second solvent is removed. A synthetic resin component and various additives are added to the second solvent in which the prepared organic and inorganic composite material is dissolved, and the coating composition is prepared.
