    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system which can be configured at a lower cost as compared with a system using a remote replication by improving the environment resistance of a storage device before or just after any occurring or coming disaster.
      SOLUTION: Sensors 19a to 19n monitor the environment of a storage device 11 for performing reading or writing of data to magnetic disk devices 14a to 14h via a logical drive LD according to access from a host device 12. An environment information management means 22 as the function of a disk controller 13 evaluates environment information detected by the sensors 19a to 19n, and a control means 21 performs a degeneration operation to stop the storage device 11 when receiving any external stress exceeding the operation range of the storage device 11 from the environment information management means 22.

      SOLUTION: At the time of receiving an access request from a host device 1, a control part 21 checks whether or not it is a reading request. When it is the reading request, the control part 21 checks whether or not copy LU is present in a system. When the copy LU is present, the control part 21 refers to a difference table this time, and distributes and executes reading processing by using the HDD of the copy LU as the object of access when confirming that the read data are non-rewritten data from difference data.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool that can automatically and positively suppress the generation of abnormal vibration under any condition, and provide a method of machining by this machine tool. SOLUTION: A tool 2 is mounted to a main spindle 3 of feed mechanism 4. A workpiece is mounted on a base 5 and supported by clampers 14, and an acceleration pickup 7 is mounted thereon. Stoppers 6 are embedded in a matrix state inside the base 5 and can be lifted/lowered by a hydraulic cylinder. A contact/separated state storage part stored with the lifted/lowered state of the stoppers 6, a rule storage part stored with rules of the lifted/lowered state of the stoppers 6 corresponding to abnormal vibration, and a determining part for determining the lifted/lowered state of the stoppers 6 are set to a numerical control device 8. An actuator of the hydraulic cylinder is connected to the numerical control device 8 through a stopper control circuit 10, and the acceleration pickup 7 is connected to the numerical control device 8 through a signal amplifying circuit 11 and an abnormal vibration recongizing circuit 9.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a drop of water from reaching a circuit board, in the case that the drop of water adheres to a contact part, by providing a grooved part for guiding a drop of water adhering to the contact part and a protrusive part protruded downward from a fixed part in a lower end part of the grooved part. CONSTITUTION:A slit-shaped groove 34 is formed toward a side of a fixed part 31 from a contact part 32. In an end part in a side of the fixed part 31 of this groove 34, a protrusion part 36 is formed so as to position its point end 36a downward from the fixed part 31 in a condition that the fixed part 31 is fixed to a circuit board 27. In this way, a drop of water adhering to the contact part is guided to the groove by a capillary phenomenon, and the drop of water arriving at an end part in a fixed part side of this groove is guided by the protrusion part 36 to reach the point end 36a of the protrusion part. Since the point end 36a of this protrusion part is positioned downward from the fixed part 31 fixed to the circuit board 27, the drop of water is bopped down from this point end 36a, and the drop of water is prevented from adhering to the circuit board 27 through the fixed part 31.
