    • PURPOSE:To prevent tilting down and breakage of a cask even when the cask is wrongly operated by fixing the cask inside a cask pit. CONSTITUTION:Four cask pit fixing legs 2a-2d are provided at the central part of each side face of a frame body 1 having a square external shape and a circular through hole section 1a at the center and four cask fixing legs 3a-3d are provided inside the through hole section 1a. An air feeding pipe 1b is connected with the frame body 1 so that the cask fixing legs 2a-2d and cask pit fixing legs 3a-3d can be extended and contracted freely by air pressure (or hydraulic pressure, drive motor, etc.). This cask supporting device is mounted on the upper end section of a cask 4 and the cask 4 is fixed to the side wall of a cask pit 6 in a state where cask 4 is abutted on the side wall inside the cask pit filled up with pool water 5. Therefore, even when the cask 4 is wrongly operated at the time of working for putting solid-state radioactive wastes in the cask 4, tilting down and breakage of the cast 4 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain integrity, by arranging a spherical floor surface with an inner surface thereof so shaped by cutting off a part of a sphere large in curvature radius and a cask support with a hole enough to incorporate a cask at a cut with the side of the sphere as bottom surface. CONSTITUTION:A cask 1 is supported with a cask support 2 and a structural material 4. Then, in the installation of the cask in an equipment within a plant, the one with the integration of the spherical floor surface 3 and the structural material 4 is set at a corner of a fuel pool or in an exclusive pool. The cask support 2 is placed on the spherical floor surface 3. The support 2 is set with the center of gravity downward. If so, when the cask is put on a floor surface, the top thereof is so level that the cask 1 can be got in or out efficiently. When a horizontal force is applied, the cask 1 is forced to move horizontally but the upper part thereof is supported with the structural material 4 and hence, the lower part thereof is formed to move horizontally. However, as the cask support 2 and the spherical floor surface 3 are made easy to slide, the cask 1 is forced to move above the floor together with the support 2. In the end, the cask is put back to the lowest position overcome by the dead load.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve a higher vibration proof of a shell wall, by arranging a reinforced concrete floor between an outer wall of nuclear reactor pressure vessel support pedestal and containment vessel. CONSTITUTION:A nuclear reactor pressure vessel 3 is supported with a reactor support pedestal 6 provided in a containment vessel 2 while a reinforced concrete floor 15 is provided between an intermediate section of the pedestal 6 and the inner wall of a container 2 in such a manner as to allow the carrying of various equipments in a nuclear reactor primary system. A reinforced concrete shell wall 8 is provided wrapping the containment vessel 2. With such an arrangement, it suffices to carry various equipments in a nuclear reactor primary system on the floor 15, in stead of building an bottom concrete of a containment vessel between the pedestal 6 and the inner wall of the containment vessel 2. This modifies excessive changes in the rigidity of the shell wall 8 to lower a shearing stress at a vent opening 12 of the shell wall 8 while enhancing a shearing stress of the lower shell 8 from the opening 12 thereby achieving a higher vibration proof of the shell wall 8 with the suppression of concentration of a seismic load on the shell wall 8 near the opening 12.
