    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-contact type condenser capable of suppressing an increase of pressure loss in a gas cooling part.SOLUTION: The direct-contact type condenser 10 includes: a turbine exhaust introduction port 21 for introducing turbine exhaust; a condensation part 22 for condensing steam included in the turbine exhaust by injecting cooling water; and a gas cooling part 40 for cooling uncondensed gas remaining in the turbine exhaust passing the condensation part 22 by injecting cooling water and exhausting the cooled uncondensed one to the outside. The gas cooling part 40 includes: a gas cooling channel 41 which is formed in a direction from downward to upward and at least a part of which is formed so that a center line L connecting centers of respective channel sections has an inclination from a vertical direction while maintaining a channel cross section at a fixed value; and a plurality of injection nozzles 43 formed in a formation direction of the gas cooling channel 41 to inject cooling water.

The anode terminal 4 of the first cell 2a and the cathode terminal 3 of the second cell 2b are connected with a first bus bar 5 arranged in a slanted direction, while the anode terminal 4 of the second cell 2b and the cathode terminal 3 of the third cell 2c are connected with a second bus bar 6 arranged in a direction crossing the length direction of the cell. Two pieces of flat cells 12a, 12b are arrayed in parallel to constitute a two-piece unit 11, and a cathode terminal 13 and an anode terminal 14 of each cell 12a, 12b are connected with a second bus bar 16.
