Positions and shapes of the drive cam, the driven member, and the pivot member are designed so that a valve maximum acceleration point at which an acceleration of a valve body is at a maximum is located in a front part of a valve acceleration period in which the acceleration of the valve body has a positive value while the drive cam is rotating once.

摘要： A lubricating system for a valve operating system includes a valve operating system configured to reciprocate a valve for substantially opening and closing a port connected to a combustion chamber of an engine, and an ejecting device provided with an outlet from which a lubricating liquid is ejected. The valve operating system includes a drive cam, a driven member configured to contact the drive cam, a pivot member which is attached to the driven member and is configured to transmit movement of the driven member to the valve, and a relative position changing device configured to change relative positions of the driven member and the pivot member. The outlet of the ejecting device is oriented to face sliding surfaces of the driven member and the drive cam at least in a period which is a part of one rotation of the drive cam.

摘要： An actuator in which an output shaft can be made to stop by a simple structure and in which actuator assured restart of the output shaft can be performed. The actuator comprises a motor, an output shaft provided with an external threading, and a connecting member having an internal threading engaged with the external threading of the output shaft. The actuator further comprises a resilient member for applying a predetermined load to the output shaft when the output shaft reaches the end of its moving range. The connecting member may comprise an internal screw member having a first protrusion formed on an outer surface thereof and a gear member having a second protrusion. When the second protrusion impacts with the first protrusion, a large starting torque is obtained. Further, two PTC thermistors are provided in a protection circuit, each thermistor allows flow of a current in only one direction, so as to prevent a reduction of a starting current.

摘要： A speed calculation device is provided. The generation component generates a plurality of pulse signals with different phases in accordance with rotation of a rotating body. The detection component detects rises and falls of respective pulses of the plurality of pulse signals generated by the generation component. The duration calculation component, each time a rise or fall is detected by the detection component, calculates a total duration of a pre-specified number of durations representing detection intervals of rises or falls detected prior to the rise or fall currently detected by the detection component. The speed calculation component calculates a speed relating to rotation of the rotating body on the basis of the total duration and a rotation angle of the rotating body that corresponds to one pulse of the pulse signals.
