    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device for a door lock for a building by which the door can be locked or unlocked by a portable device even when a battery is exhausted, and registration of the portable device is facilitated.
      SOLUTION: In the portable device 11, when a mode change-over switch 9 is turned on while the battery is exhausted, a transponder control part 15 is driven by transponder drive radio waves outputted from a transmitter-receiver 12 to output a transponder signal. The transmitter-receiver 12 releases the door locks 7, 8 based on the transponder signal. A microcomputer 24 of the transmitter-receiver 12 is provided with a memory 24a, and a registration switch 10 is connected thereto. When the registration switch 10 is turned on over a predetermined period of time, the transmitter-receiver 12 goes into a registration mode, and an ID code of the portable device 11 and a transponder code are automatically recorded in the memory 24a in sequence.
