摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key registration system capable of performing a key registration with high security even in an off-line area where no network connection can be established.SOLUTION: When on-line registration canot be used, a registered worker informs a center 25 of a service man ID and an on-vehicle apparatus ID required for key registration, for example, by a phone, a FAX, an order sheet, or the like. The center 25 authenticates validity of the service man ID and the on-vehicle apparatus ID, and when the validity can be confirmed, the center 25 transmits an electronic key 2a in which the service man ID and an electronic key ID are written to the registered worker, for example, by mail, hand-delivery, or the like. The registered worker inputs the service man ID to a registration tool 17 and transfers it to a vehicle 1, and performs service man ID collation by short-distance radio between the vehicle 1 and the electronic key 2a. When the vehicle 1 confirms that the service man ID collation is established, it acquires the electronic key ID from the electronic key 2a and registers the electronic key ID.
