    • PURPOSE:To dispense with selection control any more as well as to aim at creep prevention, by constituting a selector so as to change a shift position over to a neutral or parking position in an automated manner in time of detecting running stop and a drive shift, in case of the selector bearing the above caption. CONSTITUTION:During car running, a shift position detecting switch 4 is connected to a drive position D, and a car stop detecting circuit 1 does not output a detection signal S1, while an inverter circuit 3 outputs a high level output whereby a high level guaranteed signal S12 is inputted into an AND circuit 2 from a flip-flop circuit 12 and simultaneously a high level position detection signal S9 is also inputted into the AND circuit 2. Under this condition, when the stop detection signal S1 is outputted and then inputted into the AND circuit 2, the latter 2 outputs a high level signal by means of these signals S1, S9 and S12, making a flip-flop circuit 11 output a driving signal S11, operating a shift position selecting mechanism 19 whereby a select lever is shifted to a neutral position. Thus, shift automation is attainable.
