SOLUTION: A servo processor 30 of an optical disk device includes a low-pass equalizer 30b, a high-pass equalizer 30c, a limiter 30d and an adder 30e. A limit voltage value of the limiter 30d is set by a control command from a system controller 32 and is set, when recording data, such that the limit voltage value becomes larger than the value, when the data are reproduced.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuation of servo control due to cross talk between layers in difference of inner and outer circumference and multilayer structure of an optical disk in the optical disk device.
      SOLUTION: Based on a tracking error signal or a focus error signal, a servo processor 30 of the optical disk device performs servo control for an optical pickup 16 and performs recording or reproducing data. An optical disk 10 is divided into multiple zones in radius direction, and the optimal servo parameter at the approximately central position in each zone is set as a common servo parameter in the zone concerned. When a recording/reproducing track moves to the next zone, the optical pickup 16 is sought to the central position in the next zone concerned where servo adjustment is performed and then is sought to the head track of the zone concerned, and the recording or reproducing data is performed.
