摘要： Provided herein is a scrap melting method capable of both producing a molten iron by efficiently melting scrap and producing a large amount of high calorie exhaust gas having a high utility value as a fuel gas and at the same time capable of performing such operation at a low production cost. Scrap, the source of iron, and coke are charged into a shaft furnace and pulverized coal and oxygen are injected into the furnace from a burner provided at the tuyere portion; in such injection of the pulverized coal and oxygen, the pulverized coal is injected from the center or in the vicinity thereof in diametrical direction of the burner and the oxygen is injected from the surrounding portion thereof to mix the two, thereby rapidly burning the pulverized coal in a combustion zone formed beyond the tuyere; and the scrap is melted by the sensible heat of thus generated combustion gas to produce a molten iron and the combustion gas is collected as a fuel gas without causing a significant post combustion of the combustion gas.

And furthermore, in another method for manufacturing agglomerated of fired pellets, fine iron ores containing 10 to 80 wt. % of those of 0.044 mm or less in particle size and powder cokes containing 20 to 70 wt. % of those of 1 mm or less in particle size are used.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel polymer, and a mixture and a cement admixture thereof. The cement admixture has higher dispersibility compared to the previous ones. The novel polymer of the present invention has a different structure from the conventional copolymers used for cement admixtures, using an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol monomer as the monomer components.The novel polymer of the present invention basically contains a polyalkylene glycol chain and a polymer segment bonded to the chain. Another type of the novel polymer of the present invention contains two polyalkylene glycol chains and a polymer segment connecting the chains. In these polymers, at least one of unsaturated monomers constituting the polymer segment is an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer or an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol monomer. The cement admixture of the present invention comprises a polymer, made from these monomers, or a mixture thereof.

The production method for a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer of the present invention is a production method for a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer including a structural unit (I) derived from an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether-based monomer (a) and a structural unit (II) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid-based monomer (b), in which monomer components including the monomer (a) and the monomer (b) are polymerized using a peroxide and a reductant as polymerization initiators in combination while the pH during polymerization is controlled to 3 or less in the presence of a pH adjustor. The copolymer composition for a cement admixture of the present invention includes a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer including a structural unit (I) derived from an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether-based monomer (a) and a structural unit (II) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid-based monomer (b), and a nonpolymerizable organic sulfonic acid having a molecular weight of 300 or less and/or a salt thereof.
